I remember Heidi and Max’s wedding in Munich.  It was a scorcher of a day.  I think the temperature was close to 40 degrees celsius.  We had some time before the church ceremony, so we spent it at a typical Bavarian restaurant overlooking the Alps.  Then we had the reception on a ship tour of the Tegernsee which was great considering the hot weather on that day.  While the rest of the guests proceeded to the dinner location in Munich, Heidi and Max dropped by his grandparents’ place to visit them.  I found that to be a very nice touch from the couple as the elderly folk could not make it to the church.

The dinner was held at the Gasthof Hinterbruhl am See.  One thing Heidi wished for her group shot was to have her guests waving to them from the shore as Max rowed her around the lake.  The highlight of the evening was when the bride was “kidnapped” and the groom had to go find her via coded clues, but find her Max did.
